🔧 How to Connect Bing Ads Pixel (Step-by-Step Guide)
Learn how to integrate your Bing Ads Pixel (UET Tag) with wetracked.io to accurately track your campaign performance across your store.
This guide provides a complete step-by-step setup for Shopify, WooCommerce, and Funnelish users.
Before You Begin
Make sure you:
- Are logged in to your Bing Ads Manager before starting
- Have access to your wetracked.io dashboard
- Know which events you want to track (e.g. Add to Cart, Purchase)
Step 1: Request access to Bing's Conversion (Beta program)
- To enable Conversions API features, you must first request access to Microsoft’s beta program.
- Request access to Conversions API beta programme via "Start live chat" (go to https://ads.microsoft.com/ → click
?icon top right → Start a live chat)

I would like to get enrolled into the Conversions API beta program please.
- Wait: Microsoft review requests on Mondays and Wednesdays; it can take a couple weeks.
- No notification system: Microsoft doesn’t send you an email or alert when the review is done.
- How you know it’s approved? There a new widget / option ("Use Conversions API") appears in tag setup. See below.
- Step by step to check the new widget.
- Hover the mouse to Conversions → select UET Tag → Hover mouse to "DefaultTag" and click the Pencil icon
- Note: Save your Tag ID; you will need it later for fully connecting your Bing Ads with our tracking tool.

- Enter your details such as UET Tag name and etc, once done hit "save and next"
- You should see the new widget/option "Use Conversions API" once the Beta access is granted.
- Choose "Use Conversions API" and hit "Next" to proceeds with your set up.

Step 2: Get your Bing Conversions API key
- After enabling Conversions API access
- Copy your API Token from Microsoft Ads, You will paste this token on our app
- Once you have copied the Token, go to our app wetracked.io

Step 3: Open Your Store in wetracked.io
- Go to your app dashboard.
- Choose your store platform (Shopify, WooCommerce, or Funnelish).
- Open the store you want to connect your Bing Ads Pixel to.
Step 4: Enable and Add Your Bing Pixel
- Scroll down to the Bing Pixel section, toggle it ON, and click “Add Pixel.”
- You’ll then need to enter your Tag ID and API Token.
- Ensure to save it once you have pasted the needed details

Step 5: Go back to Bing Ads to Set up Conversions
- In Bing's Ad dashboard, hover mouse to Conversions → Conversion Goals →
- Create a new Goal if one has not yet been set up. If an existing Goal is already available, you may use that instead.

Recommended Conversion Events (Compatible with wetracked.io):
- Add to Cart
- Begin Checkout
- Page View
- Purchase
Sample guide on how to create Goals for Bing Ads
A. Click the “Create Goal” button and select “Business website”


B. Alternatively, you can select an existing Goal and use it, as long as the selected Goal Type is “Business website”.

- Select Manual setup type

- Select your Goal Category. In this example, since we are setting up an Add To Cart goal, choose Add to cart as the Goal Category.
- Select Event as your Goal Type
- Click “Next” once you’re done.

- Select a Goal Category (Add to cart):

- Set a name (it can be anything you want) and select how to categorise the revenue.

- Enhanced conversions
- Please do select "Turn on enhanced conversions" to get data that is most accurate as it can be
- Hit the check mark for enabling enhanced conversion tracking
- Hit Save and next


Connect the Event Action (and any other parameters you want):
AddToCart, InitiateCheckout, PageView, Purchase, or ViewItem
- Complete the setup by clicking the “Done” button.

- You should now have successfully created your first Goal for Add to Cart.
- Repeat the same process to create additional Goals if you wish to track other events, such as Begin Checkout, Pageview, Purchase.
