Why do we disable the dynamic checkout?

Dynamic Checkout or the Buy now button below your Add to Cart makes the conversion process easier by allowing customers to proceed directly to checkout and this is understandable why some prefers to keep it. However, it skips the Add to Cart session.

  • Skipping this session means missing out on valuable tracking details.
  • As a result, less data is sent to the Pixel.
  • The more information the Pixel receives, the better it can learn about your customers.
  • This leads to improved optimization, allowing the Pixel to target people who are more likely to convert.

✅ Therefore, we suggests to disable the Dynamic Checkout or the shortcut button from your store that skips the Add to Cart session in order to avoid sub-optimal tracking.

Disclaimer: We have tested disabling the Dynamic Checkout for a client who does 1k+ orders/day and we don't detect any significant signs that it impacted their conversion rate. Still it will be your preference to turn this feature off.
