How to integrate wetracked.io in Funnelish?
Follow these instructions to complete your setup in Funnelish 👇
We track only "Page views", "Checkout initiated", and "Purchases" on Funnelish. In order for "Checkout initiated" to be tracked, please ensure that the name of your checkout step includes the word "checkout".
Please open the funnel you intend to connect with wetracked.io. Please take note of the Funnel ID and enter it into the wetracked.io app. You can locate the Funnel ID in your browser's URL after https://app.funnelish.com/wfunnel/, which is a 5 or 6-digit number.
Click on the settings icon highlighted above to navigate to the settings page.
On the settings page, please take note of the highlighted Funnel domain and enter it into the wetracked.io app. Now, click on Custom codes to open the custom codes drawer.
Then, click on the Create a New Code button to insert our script into the funnel.
Please enter the new custom code with a suitable name, such as "wetracked.io". Next, make sure that the Lazy Load option is turned off, and ensure that the Append to page body option is still selected. Now, paste the following script into the large box and verify that the highlighting looks the same as in the image above.
Now, click Create code to generate and save the custom code. Ensure that you can see the newly created custom code in the list of Tracking codes.
Now, click the automation icon highlighted above to navigate to the funnel automation page. On this page, click Create a new automation to set up the automation for wetracked.io.
Choose the Start from scratch option when you see the modal, as highlighted in the image above.
Please enter the new automation with a suitable name, such as "wetracked.io" and click on + New trigger to create a new trigger.
When the modal appears, please select the On purchase option. After that, make sure to toggle the Run only once per customer? option on. Additionally, keep the trigger set to All steps. Now, click create to create the trigger.
Now, click on the circular + button to add an action.
When the modal appears, kindly choose the Webhook option. Enter the wetracked.io endpoint below and click Add to configure the webhook action.
Click on the circular + button once more to add an action, but this time, choose end this automation.
Now, turn on the automation.
Finally, click on the Apps icon highlighted below to access the Funnel apps page. Disable any tracking apps for the ad platform you are using wetracked.io with to prevent overreporting.
To confirm that the integration is functioning correctly, kindly append "?wetracked.io=connected" to the end of your Funnel landing page URL. For example, https://www.example.com/lander?wetracked.io=connected. Upon doing so, you should receive an alert message stating "Yes, wetracked.io is connected."
