This guide provides a detailed walkthrough on how to install and integrate wetracked.io with your Shopify store. Whether you’re a new user or an existing subscriber, this article covers all the essential steps to successfully complete your integration.

Prerequisites / Before You Start

Before proceeding with the installation, please ensure the following:

• ✅ You are logged in to the Shopify account you want to connect.
• ✅ You have your Ad pixel details ready for configuration.

Step-by-Step Installation Guide

Step 1: Access the wetracked.io Dashboard

• Go to wetracked.io and select Shopify > Add New Store.

Step 2: Select Checkout Type and Timezone

• Choose your checkout type and timezone, then click Continue. If you are unsure which checkout type to use, refer to this guide: 👉 Differences of Checkout Types

Step 3: Add Your Pixel Details 

• Toggle on your preferred Ad Platform (e.g., Facebook, TikTok, Google Ads, etc.), then select Add Pixel and fill out the required details. Once your pixel is successfully added, click Complete.

Step 4: Subscription Confirmation

• If this is your first time using wetracked.io, you may be prompted to subscribe.
• Existing subscribers will not see this step and may proceed directly to Step 5.

Step 5: Access Your Pre-Store and Start Installation

• Once pixel details have been added, a pre-store will be created. Open it to begin your wetracked.io app installation. (it may appear as store name with random numbers)

• Toggle the button to reveal the Install option.

Step 6: Connect to Shopify

• Click Install. Ensure that you are logged in to the Shopify store you wish to connect, as the process will automatically route you to your logged-in account.

• You will be redirected to Shopify’s App Sales and Channel installation page. Confirm the installation by clicking Install buttons

Step 7: Configure the API Key

• Once the app installation has been initiated, you will be prompted to fill out specific details in Shopify.

• Go back to your wetracked.io dashboard, generate the API key and copy it -- then paste the API key into your Shopify app.
• Make sure to save the changes once you have pasted the API key from wetracked.io onto Shopify field form

• Once you have pasted the API key on Shopify, the image on screenshot below should show up meaning you’re almost done

Step 8: Verify the Connection

• After saving your API key, return to your wetracked.io app and select Verify Connection.

Step 9: Store Review and Activation

• Your store will now appear under Review Status on our app. Please allow some time for our team to review and activate your store.
• Rest assured, our team ensures all new store connections are handled promptly.
• You will receive an email notification for next steps and you will receive an email once the store activation is completed

Final Notes

Once your Shopify store has been successfully integrated with wetracked.io, your data tracking setup will begin automatically.
