How to Add Google's Conversions (by conv. time)?

What Is “Conversion by Time” in Google Ads?

Google Ads can report conversions in two ways, depending on how you want them dated.

Standard Attribution (Default View)

By default, conversions are attributed to the date the ad was clicked — not the date the purchase happened.

Conversions (by conv. time) in Google Ads is a reporting metric that attributes a conversion to the exact date the action (e.g., purchase) occurred, rather than the date of the ad click

How to Add the “Conversion by Time” Column in Google Ads

  1. Open Google Ads
  2. Go to Campaigns or Ad Groups
  3. Click Columns → Modify columns
  4. Search for “by conv. time”
  5. Enable Conversions (by conv. time)
  6. Click Apply

This shows conversions by the actual purchase date, helping your totals align with your store or wetracked.io
