# How to Add Google's Conversions (by conv. time)

| How to Add Google's Conversions (by conv. time)?

### What Is “Conversion by Time” in Google Ads?

Google Ads can report conversions in two ways, depending on how you want them dated.

**Standard Attribution (Default View)**
By default, conversions are attributed to the date the ad was clicked — not the date the purchase happened.

**Conversions (by conv. time)** in Google Ads is a reporting metric that attributes a conversion to the exact date the action (e.g., purchase) occurred, rather than the date of the ad click
